Connect Your Ad Accounts
Before Brixi can report on your advertising or pull in the leads your ads generate, connect each ad account once. After that, spend and leads flow in automatically and you never have to export from the ad platforms by hand.

| Article summary | Details |
|---|---|
| Best for | Admins setting up advertising |
| Main outcome | Meta, Google, and LinkedIn accounts connected and reporting |
| Roles | Admin |
| Requires | Reporting access to the ad account you're connecting |
| Related reports | Advertising spend, leads, and ROI |
Before You Start
- Have an ad account on Meta, Google, or LinkedIn with reporting access.
- Connect with an account that can stay connected — if the login changes, the connection will need to be re-authorized.
Connect an Account
- Open Growth → Ads and select the Connections tab.
- Select Connect an ad account.
- Choose the platform (Meta, Google, or LinkedIn) and authorize Brixi.
- The account appears as a card showing its platform, name, status,
and ID (for example,
act_…).
Keep Connections Healthy
Each account card shows a status:
| Status | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Connected | Reporting and lead capture are working | Nothing |
| Needs reconnect | The authorization expired or access changed | Reconnect the account |
Use Revoke on a card to disconnect an account you no longer use, and Sync accounts to pull the latest accounts and data.
Check the Result
- The account shows Connected.
- Its spend and leads appear on the Dashboard and Leads tabs.
Common Issues
| Issue | What to check |
|---|---|
| Account shows Needs reconnect | Re-authorize it; the platform login or permission likely changed |
| No data after connecting | Use Sync accounts, then check the date range and platform filter |
| Cannot connect an account | Confirm you have reporting access on the ad platform |
Contact your admin first if the Connect an ad account button is hidden.
Contact Brixi support if an account connects but never reports data. Include the platform and the account ID.
Reporting Impact
Connected accounts are the source of all advertising data. A dropped connection stops spend and lead reporting for that account until it is reconnected.
