Write the Script Your Team Reads

Give every caller the same strong opening, talking points, and answers to the questions leads always ask — so the pitch doesn't change person to person. A call script holds that text, and because scripts live in a shared library, you write one once and link it to any campaign that needs it.

The script shows up for the executive inside the call workspace while they're on the call, right next to where they log the outcome.

Main outcomeA saved script, ready to link to one or more campaigns.
RolesManager / admin (executives can read scripts).

Open the Script Library

Open Automation → Telecalling → Scripts. The page has two panes:

  • Left — the list of existing scripts, with a New button.
  • Right — the editor for whichever script is selected (or a blank editor when you create one).

Create a Script

  1. Select New in the top-left of the script list.
  2. Fill the editor:
    • Script title — a short label, for example Opening pitch.
    • Script content — what the executive reads to the lead.
  3. Select Save script.

The new script appears in the list and is ready to link to a campaign.

Script content can't be empty.

Add the body text before saving — the title alone won't save.

Edit a Script

Select any script in the left list to open it in the editor, change the title or content, and select Save script. Updates apply everywhere the script is linked, so keep one script per use case rather than cloning it for small edits.

A script only reaches executives once it's linked to a campaign. You can link from either place:

  • From the campaign — open the campaign's Overview tab, pick the script in the Call script section, and select Link. You can also select New script there to write and link one in a single step.
  • From the library — write the script under Scripts first, then link it from the campaign as above.

Each campaign uses one linked script at a time. Linking a different script replaces the previous one for that campaign.

Writing a Good Script

  • Open with who you are and why you're calling — leads decide quickly whether to stay on the line.
  • Keep it skimmable. Executives read it live, so use short lines and clear sections rather than long paragraphs.
  • Cover the common objections so executives don't improvise.
  • End with the next step — a callback, a site visit, or a handoff — which matches the feedback form they fill in afterward.

Common Issues

IssueWhat to check
Save is blockedScript content is empty — add the body text.
Executives don't see the scriptIt isn't linked to their campaign. Link it on the campaign's Overview tab.
An edit didn't reach the teamConfirm you saved, and that the campaign points to this script and not an older copy.

Contact your admin first for telecalling permissions or a missing Scripts tab.

Contact Brixi support if a saved script won't link or load. Include the script title, the campaign you're linking to, and a screenshot or error message.

Reporting Impact

Scripts don't appear in reports directly, but a clear script lifts connect-to-conversion rates you'll see in Telecalling Reports.
