Create a Workflow

Build your own automation when no template fits. Choose the event that should start it, add the actions, waits, and branches you want, then publish — and Brixi runs that process automatically for every matching customer or sales event.

Entry pointAutomation → Workflows

Who Can Do This

  • Account admins and authorized managers can create workflows.
  • Sales managers should review the workflow logic before publishing.

Create From Scratch

  1. Go to Automation.
  2. Open Workflows.
  3. Choose New workflow.
  4. In the editor, choose Add Trigger.
  5. Select the event that should start the workflow.
  6. Add workflow blocks such as actions, waits, or branches.
  7. Review Settings.
  8. Choose Save Workflow.
  9. Choose Publish when the workflow is ready to run live.

What You Should See

The workflow editor should show New Workflow, Draft, Publish, Save Workflow, Editor, Settings, Enrollment History, Runs, Blocks, and Add Trigger.

Good Workflow Habits

  • Start with one clear trigger.
  • Keep each workflow focused on one business outcome.
  • Add waits only when the timing is intentional.
  • Use branches when different customers should follow different paths.
  • Test and review before publishing.

Common Issues

IssueWhat to check
Workflow has no triggerUse Add Trigger before building the rest of the workflow
Workflow does not runConfirm it is published, not still in draft
Actions happen at the wrong timeReview wait blocks and branch logic
Agents receive unexpected tasksCheck the action block and owner assignment rules

If you can't create or publish workflows at all, ask your admin — those rights belong to admins and authorized managers, and your admin can confirm your role.

Contact Brixi support if a published workflow doesn't run, runs on the wrong records, or changes you saved with Save Workflow disappear. Include the workflow name and what you expected it to do.
