Send SMS through Your Own Provider
Send updates, follow-ups, and lead communication by text — through an SMS provider you already pay for. Connect Twilio, Exotel, MSG91, or Kaleyra once and use it across campaigns, workflows, and one-off sends.

Supported Providers
Brixi shows provider options for:
- Twilio — Programmable Messaging (REST API).
- Exotel
- MSG91 — Bulk SMS gateway (India DLT-compliant).
- Kaleyra
Provider-specific setup pages walk through the exact fields each one needs (the Add SMS Account dialog uses the same form, but the hint text and required fields differ by provider).
Add An SMS Account
- Go to Integrations.
- Find SMS.
- Choose Manage.
- Choose Add account.
- Select the Provider.
- Enter Display Name.
- Enter Sender ID.
- Add provider credentials such as Client ID, API Key / Auth Token, username, password, or Base URL if required.
- Choose Save account.
- Verify the account.
What You Should See
The account should appear under SMS Accounts with a status such as Verified, Verification pending, Draft, or Failed.
Common Issues
| Issue | What to check |
|---|---|
| Verification fails | Check provider credentials and sender ID |
| Base URL is rejected | Use a full URL starting with http:// or https:// |
| Messages do not send | Confirm the account is verified |
| Sender ID is wrong | Review provider rules and DLT details |
If you can't see the SMS card or Add account, ask your admin — managing SMS accounts is an admin action. Verification failures are usually credential or sender ID problems you can fix yourself against the provider's panel.
Contact Brixi support if a Verified account can't send, or the provider accepts the credentials but delivery still fails. Include the provider, the account's display name, and one example recipient and send time.
