Send Email through Your Own Server (SMTP)

Send email from Brixi through your own mail server or provider, so campaigns and automations go out from a sender you control. Connect SMTP once, test delivery, and the sender becomes available everywhere Brixi sends email.

Entry pointAutomation → Integrations

Connect SMTP

  1. Go to Integrations.
  2. Find SMTP.
  3. Choose Manage.
  4. Enter sender details such as sender name and email.
  5. Enter SMTP username, password, host, port, and encryption.
  6. Test the SMTP connection.
  7. Add IMAP details if required by your setup.
  8. Choose Connect & Save after tests pass.

What You Should See

Brixi should confirm the SMTP connection can be saved. After setup, email campaigns and automations can use the connected sender.

Common Issues

IssueWhat to check
Test failsCheck host, port, encryption, username, and password
Save is disabledComplete required SMTP and IMAP tests
Emails go to spamReview sender domain authentication with your email provider
Wrong sender appearsCheck sender name, from address, and reply-to details

Failed connection tests are nearly always a host, port, encryption, or credential mismatch — check those with whoever runs your mail server (often your admin) before raising a ticket. Spam-folder problems live with your email provider's domain authentication, not with Brixi.

Contact Brixi support if settings that pass the test keep failing afterwards, or emails stop sending after the connection is saved. Include the SMTP host, the sender address, and an example send that didn't arrive.
