Choose How Brixi Notifies You
Pick which channels Brixi uses to reach you, and when. Channels live in your profile; allowed contact times live in Notification Preference — between the two you can catch assignments and reminders without being pinged at midnight.
Entry pointProfile → Notifications
Personal Notification Settings
- Go to Profile.
- Open Notifications.
- Review Notification Settings.
- Turn channels on or off:
- Desktop
- Mobile App
Important account emails, such as account status or billing updates, may still be sent even if you turn off optional notifications.
Notification Preference
Allowed contact times are managed separately:
- Go to Settings.
- Open Notification Preference.
- Review channels:
- SMS
- Voice Call
- Choose No restriction if notifications can arrive any time.
- Or set Start Time and End Time.
- Choose Save Preference.
Admin Notification Review
Admins can review every notification the workspace has sent, which helps when someone reports a missing alert:
- Go to Admin.
- Open Notifications.
- Use filters such as Client ID, Contact ID, Channel, Time Range, Notification Status, Date, Scheduled At, and Per Page.
- Choose Apply filters or Reset.
- Review notification rows by Title, Channel, Client ID, Receiver, Status, and Created.
- Use View raw data when troubleshooting.
Common Issues
| Issue | What to check |
|---|---|
| You are not receiving notifications | Confirm the channel is enabled |
| Notifications arrive at the wrong time | Check Notification Preference start and end times |
| WhatsApp notifications are missing | Confirm WhatsApp is enabled and your linked number is correct |
| Desktop notifications do not appear | Check browser or desktop notification permissions |
If a notification never arrives, ask your admin to look it up in Admin → Notifications first — the record there shows whether Brixi actually sent it and on which channel, which settles most "missing alert" questions quickly.
Contact Brixi support if the admin log shows the notification was sent but it never reached you, or if the log shows repeated failures on a channel. Include the channel, the Title, and the Created time from the log.
