Log and Review Customer Activity
Every note, email, call, message, task, meeting, and site visit gets logged against the contact and shows up on one shared timeline. That's what lets anyone on the team pick up a conversation knowing exactly what came before — this page shows you where each kind of activity gets logged.

How to Log Activities
All activity logging happens from the contact detail page. Open a contact (CRM → Contacts → select a contact) and use one of these entry points:
| To log this | Open | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Note | Actions → Log Notes | Log a Note |
| Actions → Log Email | Log an Email | |
| Message (WhatsApp / SMS) | Actions → Log Message | Log a Message |
| Call | Actions → Log Call | Log a Call |
| Task | Tasks card → + | Add a Task |
| Meeting | Meetings card → + | Schedule a Meeting |
| Site visit | Property Visits card → + | Schedule a Site Visit |
| Document | Documents card → + | Upload or Remove Documents |
| Enquiry | Enquiries card → + | Add or Update an Enquiry |
| Deal | Deals card → + | Create a Deal |
You can also type a quick reminder into the yellow Add personal note box in the contact header.
Activity Timeline
The right side of the contact detail page shows the activity timeline — tabs for Activities, Notes, Emails, Calls, Messages, Pinned, with Activity type / User / Time period filters.
See Activity Timeline for the full walkthrough.
Calendar View
Tasks, meetings and site visits also appear in the Calendar (top bar). Use the All / Meetings / Property Visits / Tasks tabs above the calendar to focus on one event type.
Troubleshooting
Activity logging depends on contact access, so if a logging option in the Actions menu is missing or a contact's timeline looks thinner than it should, ask your admin to check your contact and activity permissions and the record's owner — visibility rules hide other users' activity in some setups.
Contact Brixi support if activities you logged yourself don't appear on the timeline, or the timeline filters return nothing when entries clearly exist. Name the contact and the activity type that's missing.
