Add Meet Links to the Meetings Brixi Schedules
With Google Meet connected, every meeting Brixi schedules — site visits, demos, callbacks — gets a Meet video link added automatically, and the meeting history lands on the matching contact. One Google sign-in and a single meeting permission is all it takes.

What You Need
- The business Google account you use for Google Meet.
- Permission to sign in to that Google account — you complete the Google sign-in window yourself.
- Google Calendar connected first is strongly recommended — Meet links are created alongside calendar events, so the two work as a pair.
- A modern browser with pop-ups allowed for
brixi.aiso the Google consent window opens cleanly.
Use the same Google account you connected for Google Calendar. Brixi pairs the Meet link with the calendar event, and cross-account setups cause meetings to land on the wrong calendar.
Connect Google Meet
- Open Profile → My Apps. Find the Google Meet card.
- Turn on the Google Meet toggle. A Connecting to Google Meet… banner appears and a Google sign-in tab opens.
- Choose the Google account you want to connect (or use Use another account to sign in fresh).
- If Google shows "Google hasn't verified this app," select Advanced, then Go to Brixi AI (unsafe) — this warning is expected for your own workspace and clears once Google completes app verification.
- On the "You're signing back in to Brixi AI" screen, select Continue.
- On "Brixi AI wants access to your Google Account," review the permission and select Continue.
- Google returns you to Brixi. The Google Meet card shows as connected and the toggle stays on.

Don't reload Brixi or close the Google window until you're returned to the My Apps page — the connection may not save otherwise.
Permissions You'll Grant
Approve the meeting permission Brixi requests — Meet links can't be created otherwise.
| Permission | Why Brixi needs it |
|---|---|
| Create and manage Google Meet meetings you start | Generate Meet links and attach them to the meetings Brixi schedules. |
Brixi does not request access to your Gmail, Calendar events, or Contacts from this connector — those have their own apps (see Connect Gmail, Connect Google Calendar, and Connect Google Contacts).
What Syncs After Connecting
Once the connection is live, Brixi will:
- Auto-create Meet links when a Brixi meeting is scheduled (site visit, demo, follow-up call).
- Attach the Meet link to the matching calendar event in the connected Google Calendar.
- Track meeting history against the contact, so calls and demos show up on the contact's timeline.
- Auto-log the meeting outcome (joined / no-show / rescheduled) when the linked Google Calendar event is updated.
Meet links typically appear on the event within a few seconds of saving the meeting in Brixi.
Disconnect
To stop creating new Meet links, turn the Google Meet toggle off in My Apps.
- Disconnect stops new Meet links from being created immediately.
- Meet links already attached to past or upcoming meetings stay — they're owned by Google, not Brixi.
- Reconnecting later re-runs the OAuth flow — your previous mappings are restored if you sign in with the same Google account.
Common Issues
| Issue | What to check |
|---|---|
| The connection didn't save | Reconnect and let the Connecting to Google Meet… banner finish without reloading or closing the Google tab. |
| Stuck on "hasn't verified this app" | Select Advanced, then Go to Brixi AI (unsafe) — it's your own workspace. |
| Wrong account connected | Disconnect, then reconnect and pick the correct Google account in the picker. |
| Toggle is missing from My Apps | Ask your admin to review your access to integrations. |
| Meetings have no Meet link | Confirm Google Calendar is also connected and that both connectors use the same Google account. |
| Meet link goes to the wrong host's account | The Meet account on Brixi is different from the calendar host. Reconnect with the same account on both. |
| Sync seems delayed | Sync runs every minute; longer gaps usually mean Google revoked the token — disconnect and reconnect. |
Ask your admin if the Google Meet card doesn't appear in My Apps — that's an integration permission on your role. If meetings come through without a Meet link, check the pairing yourself first: Google Calendar must also be connected, and both connectors need the same Google account.
Contact Brixi support when both connectors are on the same account, the permission was approved, and links still aren't created — or links keep landing on the wrong host. Share the connected account and an example meeting (contact name and scheduled time).
