Set Call and WhatsApp Controls

This page controls the calling and direct WhatsApp actions available to workspace users. It affects both web and mobile workflows.

Entry pointAdmin → Settings → Activity → Call & WhatsApp controls

Who Can Do This

Account admins and CRM admins can change these workspace-wide controls.

Set the Controls

  1. Open Admin → Settings → Activity → Call & WhatsApp controls.
  2. Review Require a note when logging calls and Automatically log mobile calls.
  3. Set Disable direct WhatsApp Messaging if users should send through your connected Business API channel instead of opening WhatsApp directly. This can route mobile contact actions into Brixi Inbox when Inbox is enabled.
  4. Review Disable IVR calling, Disable mobile SIM dialing, and Disable phone dialer links. Each switch removes the named calling route for users.
  5. Select Save and confirm Call settings saved.

After saving, ask an affected agent to check a contact's call and WhatsApp actions. See Use WhatsApp Business on Mobile for the mobile behavior.
