Plan Your Day with the Mobile Assistant
The Assistant tab gives you a plan for your day and a second pair of hands while you're on the move. Generate an action plan and tick off items as you finish them, chat to think through priorities or summarize work, and look back over completed plans and past conversations. The mobile assistant covers action planning and chat; voice assistant setup lives in the web AI Assistants section.

- Start a new conversation.

- Open the related contact, task, or workflow if needed.
- Complete the real-world action.
- Mark the action plan item complete.
Use Chat
Use chat when you need help thinking through your day, summarizing work, or deciding what to do next. Keep customer details accurate in your prompts, and verify anything important before you act on it.
Good examples:
- "Summarize my open follow-ups for today."
- "Help me prioritize leads with overdue tasks."
- "Draft a short call summary from these notes."
- "What should I prepare before this site visit?"
Don't treat the assistant as the final source of truth for prices, commitments, legal terms, or customer consent. Check the customer record, deal, task, or approved source before acting.
Start a New Conversation
Start a new conversation when the topic changes. This keeps chat history easier to review and reduces confusion between unrelated customers, visits, or tasks.
For example, use one chat to plan your morning follow-ups and a separate chat to prepare for a specific customer meeting.
Review Completed Action Plans
Completed action plans help you remember what's already handled. They're useful when you're reviewing your day with a manager or checking whether a suggested action actually got done.
Only mark an item complete after the real-world action is done. If the assistant suggested "call customer," mark it complete once the call attempt or completed call has been logged.
Good Assistant Habits
- Treat suggestions as guidance, not automatic truth.
- Confirm customer details before calling or messaging.
- Mark action plan items complete only after the real action is done.
- Use chat history to continue context instead of starting over.
Related Reports
Assistant work should eventually connect back to tasks, contacts, deals, and activity history. Use CRM and mobile reports to confirm the real work got done.
Common Issues
| Issue | What to check |
|---|---|
| Assistant does not respond | Check network and retry. |
| Action plan is empty | There may be no current action items or data may still be loading. |
| Completion fails | Retry and confirm the item is still available. |
| Chat history is missing | Check account, workspace, and network state. |
| The Assistant tab is missing entirely | That's a role or workspace setting — ask your admin to confirm your access. |
| Responses keep failing after checking network, account, and app version | See Getting Help — include an example prompt and the time it failed. |
