Manage Tasks and Your Schedule
Tasks tell you what to do; Calendar tells you when. Work your task list to clear follow-ups, then check the Calendar to see meetings, visits, and reminders laid out by time of day. Used together, they keep scheduled customer commitments from slipping.

Tasks
The Tasks area is where you'll find:
- Today's tasks.
- Upcoming tasks.
- Linked contacts or leads.
- Task detail.
- Completion or reopen actions.
Work Tasks on Mobile
- Open Tasks.
- Start with Today.
- Open each task and review the linked record.
- Complete the real-world action.
- Mark the task complete only after the action is done.
- Reopen or create a new task if follow-up is still needed.
Calendar
Calendar can show meetings, visits, tasks, and other scheduled items. It's the view to use when you want to see your day by time rather than as a list.
Work Calendar Events
- Open Calendar.
- Review events for the selected date.
- Open the event detail.
- Update the linked task, meeting, or visit after the work happens.
- Add notes or outcomes where needed.
Task and Calendar Discipline
- Don't leave completed work open.
- Don't close a task without logging the outcome.
- Reschedule tasks when customer timing changes.
- Check calendar before committing to a visit or meeting.
- Link work to the correct contact or deal.
Common Issues
| Issue | What to check |
|---|---|
| Task is missing | Check Today/Upcoming filters, owner, and linked record. |
| Calendar event is missing | Check selected date, event type, and permissions. |
| Reminder did not arrive | Check notification settings and device permissions. |
| Completed task still appears | Refresh and confirm completion saved successfully. |
Missing tasks or calendar events are usually an ownership or visibility question — a task assigned to someone else, or an event type your role can't see. Your admin can confirm both in a minute.
Contact Brixi support if reminders never arrive even with notifications enabled in both Brixi and your device settings, or if completed tasks keep reappearing after a refresh. Include the task name, the date, and your device type.
