Run a Customer Property Visit
A property visit is only useful if it's on record: who the customer is, where they went, who was responsible, and what happened next. This page covers the whole loop — schedule the visit, confirm or reschedule as plans change, mark the steps along the way, and record the outcome.

Before Scheduling
Have these details ready — a visit scheduled with gaps creates confusion on the day:
- Customer name and phone number.
- Customer requirement.
- Property, project, or site.
- Visit date and time.
- Assigned field executive.
- Meeting point or location.
- Notes from the sales conversation.
Schedule a Visit
- Open the contact or schedule visit action.
- Select the customer.
- Select property, project, or site.
- Add date and time.
- Add requirement details and notes.
- Assign owner or field executive.
- Save the visit.
- Confirm the visit appears in the Visits tab or calendar.
Manage a Visit
Depending on status and permissions, field users may:
- Confirm the visit.
- Reschedule.
- Cancel.
- Mark reached location.
- Mark met client.
- Add notes.
- Complete the visit.
After the Visit
Add outcome notes while it's fresh. Cover:
- Did the customer attend?
- What did they like or reject?
- Did budget or requirement change?
- Is a revisit needed?
- Should a deal be created or updated?
- What follow-up should happen next?
Common Issues
| Issue | What to check |
|---|---|
| Visit is missing | Check date, status, assignment, and filters. |
| Cannot update visit | Check permissions and current visit status. |
| Customer details are incomplete | Open the linked contact and update missing details. |
| Visit was rescheduled | Use reschedule rather than creating a duplicate. |
If you can't update a visit's status — confirm, reschedule, complete — or visits assigned to you never appear, that's permissions or assignment. Your admin can check your role and how visits are routed to field executives.
Contact Brixi support if visit updates save and then revert, or a visit you saved never shows in the Visits tab or calendar. Include the customer name, the visit date and time, and which status action failed.
