Track Job Titles and Skills Across Your Team
Designations and skills are the labels Brixi uses to describe what each person does and what they're good at. Set them up here and they'll appear on user profiles and in team setup.

Use Designation for job titles or internal positions. Use Skill for capabilities your team wants to track.
Who can do this?
Admins with organization settings permission can add and manage designations and skills.
Add a designation
- Open Designation.
- Click + Add Designation.
- Enter the designation name.
- Save the designation.
Add a skill
- Open Skill.
- Click + Add Skill.
- Enter the skill name.
- Save the skill.
What you should see after finishing
Designations appear in the Designations list, and skills appear in the Skills list with available actions.
Common issues
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| No designations or skills appear | Create the first item from the relevant tab. |
| Action is not available | Check your organization permissions. |
| Duplicate names cause confusion | Use clear, unique names for each designation and skill. |
| + Add Designation or + Add Skill button is missing | Your role lacks organization permissions — ask another admin to check. |
| A designation or skill saves but never shows up on user profiles or in organization setup | See Getting Help — include the exact name you created and where you expected it to appear. |
