Control What Each Teammate Can Access
Permission templates are how you decide what each role can see and do — who edits deals, who exports data, who touches admin settings. Build a template once, assign it to a role, and everyone in that role inherits the access.

Who can do this?
Admins with role-management access can create templates and assign templates to CRM roles.
Review roles
- Open Roles & Permissions.
- Select Roles.
- Review each role, code, assigned permission template, and status.
- Use View to inspect a role.
- Use Assign to attach a permission template.
Common CRM roles can include Admin, Super Admin, Sales Manager, Sales Executive, Channel Sales Manager, and Marketing Executive.
Manage permission templates
- Open Permission Templates.
- Click New Template.
- Name the template.
- Select the allowed CRM modules and actions.
- Save the template.
- Return to Roles and assign the template to the right role.
What you should see after finishing
The role list should show the assigned permission template. Users with that role should gain or lose access according to the template.
Common issues
- User still cannot access a screen: Confirm both the user's role and the role's permission template.
- Template is not assigned: Creating a template does not automatically apply it to a role.
- A role should not be editable: Some roles may be system-managed or require higher admin access.
Troubleshooting
Access problems almost always come down to one of two links in the chain: the user's role, or the template attached to that role. Check both before raising anything — a template you created but never assigned does nothing. If both are correct and a user still can't reach the records or actions the template grants, contact Brixi support with the user, role, template name, and the screen they tried to open.
Roles you can't edit may be system-managed. That's by design, not a bug.
