Set Up Your Team in Brixi
Getting people into the workspace is the first real admin job, and this is where you do it. Invite each employee, group users for assignment and reporting, and build teams with a leader so leads, distribution, and dashboards land with the right people.
Entry pointAdmin → Organization
The Users & Teams section has three tabs: Users, Groups, and Team.
Who can do this?
Admins and managers with organization permissions can manage users, groups, and teams. Some users may only be able to view team information.
Manage users
- Open Users.
- Review user summary cards such as recent users, inactive users, deactivated users, pending invites, bounced invites, and users with 2FA.
- Use filters to narrow the user list.
- Click Add Employee to invite or create a user.
- Review user details such as name, employee ID, email, role, branch, and status.
- Use actions to manage the user.
Manage groups
- Open Groups.
- Click Add Group.
- Enter the group details.
- Choose the distribution type when applicable.
- Add members.
- Save the group.
Groups are useful when you need to organize users for assignment, distribution, or reporting.
Manage teams
- Open Team.
- Click New Team or Create Team.
- Enter the team name.
- Select a team leader.
- Add team members.
- Save the team.
What you should see after finishing
Users appear in the Users list, groups appear in the Groups table, and teams appear with team name, team leader, team size, created date, and available actions.
Common issues
- Add Employee is not visible: Check your organization permissions.
- User invite is pending or bounced: Confirm the email address is correct and ask the user to check their inbox.
- Team member is missing: Confirm the user is active before adding them to a team.
- 2FA count looks wrong: Ask users to finish two-factor setup from their profile security page.
Troubleshooting
Invite trouble is the most common issue here, and most of it isn't a bug — a bounced invite usually means a typo in the email address, and a pending one often just landed in spam. If the address is right and the invite still never arrives, or a user can't log in after activating, contact Brixi support with the email address and the invite status shown on the Users tab.
Team or group membership that won't save is also worth a ticket. A hidden Add Employee button isn't — that's an organization permission your admin controls.
