Set Holidays and Workday Templates

Holiday calendars and workday templates tell Brixi when your teams are working, off, or unavailable. Set them up here and assign them to teams so attendance, leave, and scheduling all line up with reality.

Entry pointAdmin → Workforce

Use Holiday Calendar for holidays. Use Workday Template for working days and schedules.

Who can do this?

Admins and workforce managers with workforce permissions can create, edit, assign, and unassign holiday calendars and workday templates.

Create a holiday calendar

  1. Open Holiday Calendar.
  2. Choose the year filter if needed.
  3. Click Create.
  4. Enter the calendar name.
  5. Add holiday names and dates.
  6. Choose whether the holiday calendar is enabled globally if that option is available.
  7. Save the calendar.
  8. Assign it to the correct teams.

Create a workday template

  1. Open Workday Template.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Enter the template name.
  4. Configure the working days and schedule.
  5. Save the template.
  6. Assign it to the correct teams.

Review calendars and templates

The tables show calendar or template name, assigned teams, modified by, modified on, and actions.

What you should see after finishing

Holiday calendars and workday templates should appear in their tables and show assigned teams after assignment.

Common issues

  • No holidays or templates found: Create the first calendar or template.
  • Team is not affected: Confirm the calendar or template is assigned to that team.
  • Holiday date is wrong: Edit the holiday calendar and verify the year.

Troubleshooting

Assignment is what makes these take effect, so when a team seems unaffected, open the calendar or template and confirm that team is actually listed before going further. If it's assigned and attendance, leave, or scheduling still ignores it, contact Brixi support with the calendar or template name and the team affected.

A wrong holiday date is an edit, not a ticket — open the calendar and double-check the year filter.
